Medieval 2:Total War Mouse Cursor Speed (Fix)

I've just started playing Medieval 2 again and the campaign look around speed using the mouse or keyboard was insanely fast.  Now to fix this all you have to do is check "Vertical Sync" under video settings.

Medieval 2:Total War Crashes On Menu With Windows 10 (Fix)

So I just started playing Medieval 2 again and installed it via Steam on my gaming laptop (Sager) which uses Windows 10, and then it crashed Windows (locked it so I had to force shutdown) each time I started going to different parts of menu on startup of the game.  Now the fix is to find the medieval2.exe which is located (by default with Steam) at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War and then right-click it and go to properties.  Then go to compatibility and check the checkbox "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows 7.  Now go to Steam and start the game and it should work.

No Turn Limit Medieval 2: Total War

I just figured out how to make the turns in Medieval 2: Total War basically infinite! No more problems with running out of time in a game due to lack of turns!

All I had to do was change/edit the file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\medieval ii total war\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt (if you bought it on steam), the change was in timescale, makes it smaller means more turns for the game, the default is 2.00, I made it really really small so I have a lot of turns, it happens to be 450,000 turns...
